Surprise!!

 Last night I had a very bad dream. There was a huge casino and we went to it. My mom said she would spend 3,000 dollars on me, my brother, and my sister for games. There was one game where all the dummies do is go up, down, and sideways. But you weren't supposed to go in there. It cost 500 dollars. Now Lucas ( my brother) thought you were supposed to go in there so that's what he did. All the workers came and used all their tools to get him out. Mommy said,"Try opening the door, "and he tried but it was locked. I went and tried to open the door and it was opened but one of the workers closed the door and yelled at me. When they got Lucas out they started beating him with a huge tongue. And then I woke up from the bad dream. Our cat brings us lizard and snake heads all the time. Well I was about to step on a frog in my room. I yelled,"MOMMY, THE CAT BROUGHT US ANOTHER SURPRISE!!!!!!!!". She grabbed a cup and a paper plate and came into my room. While she was grabbing the cup and the paper plate, the frog jumped under my bed. IT WAS ALIVE!!!!Mom caught it and put it outside. Super mommy saves the day!( for the 1,000,000 time)

All In!

So, last year I was the only one who was home schooled and my brother was in public school while my sister just sat around all day watching KLRN. But this year is going to be different. Now my brother and my sister are home schooled. Lucas (my brother) is a little more used to it than Emaleigh (my sister) is. You see Emaleigh has never been in school before so she understands it less than Lucas does. But she is getting the hang of it. Our homeschool is called escondido branches. I have to tell you, Lucas and Emaleigh can sometimes be nothing in homeschool. So wish me luck.P.S. Lucas told me to write nothing.

Ronnie Milsap

Your not going to believe what happened today. Well, you might believe it, but I got to see Ronnie Milsap play piano with his band and they were amazing. This was my first time ever watching him play. Whoo whoo!!!!! If you don't know who he is than I will give you some information. Ronnie was blind and than he had to take his eyes out. But he still mastered the piano.

2nd Year

Today I went to my 3rd practice for my 2nd year of choir. There were some new kids at practice but I'm not surprised because there are always new kids at the start of the year. I'm friends with 4 1 years already. there names are Azakiah, Samantha, Megan, and Hope. How I became friends with Azakiah is we have solfege camp and we were saying our birthday month. his was the same as mine, June. so I ask him what his date was and he said the 12th. Mine is the 14th. hes a couple years older than me though. And from that day on we just hung out with each other every time we see us. How became friends with Samantha is I helped her out with her music and then we liked each other. Megan knew about this wedding type of mood ring where it tells you if your single or something like that in certain ways or the hand you put it on. And then we became friends. And Hope, I just met today and she needed us to pick her up and bring her to a fundraiser with us. Me and her talked a lot and all of a sudden, bam! me and her were friends. TO BE CONTINUED...      

My last blog in 3rd grade

Unfortunately this is my last day in 3rd grade. I will still blog just not in 3rd grade. this is my only assignment today. This morning we had to wake up at 4:30 for my mom to go to her friends house named Colby. She is really nice and is my friend too. She lives in Las Vegas and my mom flew there. she actually bought 50 chocolate bars from me and now $25 goes toward my trip to you know where, France. If your reading this Colby, thank you so much. Colby's sisters son named TC is my brothers friend and Lucas (my brother) sent him a letter. We are probably going to put that in the mail today. As you know I'm with the Texas Children's Choir and they are having a Banquet today that we are going to. The last thing I want to say is that I am happy I am soon going to be in 4th grade. Anniversary

Today was my mom and dads anniversary and it was my fundraiser. A lot of choir people came and we ate our dinner and while we were on a walk, my friend Haidyn told me her dad had this brilliant idea of us singing for her anniversary and you not gonna believe this but it happened. We had really fun. If my mom or/ and dad are reading this, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!

Unexpected

When we were done eating dinner we were going to watch a movie so I started putting on my pajamas and getting ready. When I was done getting ready the family still wasn't ready so I decided to play in my sisters room with her. When it was time to start the movie mommy thought we were playing very well so instead of saying its time for the movie, she left us alone and decided we weren't going to watch it tonight. When we found out about it I thought we could play a game called Just Dance. I played until I filled the bar of points up.

Hallelujah

Sunday I had a performance at the Incarnate word chapel and I think it was the best performance we had this year, so far. We just had more energy and more confidence. The song I sang were called... Pie Jesu, Invertutetua, Balulalow, Chattanooga Choo Choo( which was my favorite one), You Raise Me Up, Battle Hymph, and Praise His Name. It was like hallelujah.

Just what I needed

Today we went to my moms friends house and it wasn't as I expected it to be. All I got to do was watch TV, well that is what I chose to do but I had no one to play with. None of them were my age. Then Emaleigh went to work with daddy at the end of the day. Me, my brother and my mom went to Chili's because we were starving and we kind of had fun. When we came out we were full. I kept thinking to myself that was just what I needed.

5,000?!

Yesterday was only the best day ever. But I was a little nervous and when I saw the crowd I felt like yikes. The crowd looked like more than 5,000 people and it probably was more than 5,000 people. Our choir sung at the readers convention and I was the one to introduce the choir with three paragraphs. These are the words I had to say before we started to sing.
GOOD MORNING! I AM ADDIE, AND WE ARE SOME OF THE MEMBERS OF THE TEXAS CHILDREN’S CHOIR. WE WELCOME YOU TO SAN ANTONIO AND WE ARE GOING TO START YOUR MORNING WITH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC.

FIRST, WE WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO SOMEONE YOU WILL MEET A FEW TIMES IN SAN ANTONIO. PEOPLE ARE UNFAIR TO THIS INDIVIDUAL, ARE SCARED OF HIM, AND HAVE VERY FEW NICE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HIM. BUT WE THINK HE DESERVES A FAIR SHAKE. WE INTRODUCE YOU TO THE COCKROACH.

FINALLY, WE EXPRESS HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE OUR TEACHERS AND OUR PARENTS, AND EVERYONE WHO HAS TAUGHT US TO READ. YOU HAVE RAISED US UP TO HEIGHTS WE NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE!

And it turned out to be great. When we had to go back into the building for something I had a lot of fans tell me how great I was.

Surprise!

I had a great day today. First I did my homework which was Language, Math, Reading, Cursive and this. Then I went to choir with my friend named Haidyn and we both heard our names called for the reward of selling stuff and when we were in extra practice we sang loud and proud and we told each other congratulations. This day was really fun.

Bye bye Jellystone

So when I was at Jelly-stone (a camp)we had so much fun because there was a indoor and outdoor pool, a jump house  and a perfect place to hike. But I was only going to stay there for two days. We left today and I got to tell you that I was going to miss that place. It was in Canyon Lake so we had to travel for about 45 minutes before we actually got home. We were in campsite 406. When we got home I went to sleep and had a dream about Jellystone. I love you campsite.

Fun filled and extended weekend

I made bread for TCC's bake sale they had last Saturday.

Camping was really fun at Jellystone.

Chick Fal A

Today we had a fundraiser at Chick Fal A and I played on the playground with my friend Sloan and I ordered a chicken sandwich with Root Beer. It was awesome. We didn't stay there to long so I don't really have much to tell. But I did like the food and playing. I hope it was a good night for the TCC( Texas children's choir).

Selling

So I think you already heard why I am selling but now I am going to tell you what I am selling. I have chocolate, lemonade, popcorn, and beef jerky. The chocolate, beef jerky, and lemonade is $1.00. The Commissary

I would like to let you know that my choir is raising money to go to Normandy, France, to sing on the Normandy Beaches on June 6, 2014, for the 70th anniversary of D-Day.  Each person on that trip has to raise $3700.  My goal is to raise $309 a month.

One of the ways we raise our money is by selling World's Finest Chocolate, Jack's Links Beef Jerky, Deanan Popcorn, and I am also selling my famous homemade Sunshine Lemonade. :)  I'm also giving lemonade away with any $20 purchase.

Another way we raised some money last Saturday was by working at the commissary at Randolph Air Force Base.  At first I was a little scared because I didn't know what was going to happen but then  somebody offered to help me take the basket out to a person's car, and then I got a little more comfortable and started doing some other jobs like bagging.  By the end I enjoyed it a lot and I was proud of my choir.
We made altogether more than $800, and I think about $50 goes toward my trip.

OH NO!!

This all started when my mom and dad were going on a trip to New Mexico and our grandpa was going to take care of us. Well, later on he broke his ankle and he couldn't take care of us and our Mima took care of us. It was a little uncomfortable because she was using my room as her room and we had to clean a lot. But it was only going to be three days so I missed them but we were fine. Before they went on there trip Lucas said and was just kidding when he said I really need a back scratcher and when they came back they got us all presents. And Lucas's present was the back scratcher. I had a ring and mommy got me a ring holder and my sister, Emaleigh got a flute. They left on a Monday and Came back on a Wednesday.

Laser Tag

One day, I went to my friend, Mariah's brothers birthday party and it was my fist time playing laser tag. But in my opinion I was pretty good. I played two times. The first time we had no defense and the red team won( I was on the blue team the whole time). And the second time my dad went in and he was our defense. Lucas my brother was also defense and I was offense and the red team won again but we got better. I think we were more better the second time because we had more strategy. I had really fun. This is what I got after the games.

Go spurs

So I haven't blogged in a long time. I know and I am very sorry. One day I went to a spurs game because my choir was going to sing a few songs there like THE NATIONAL ANTHEM! It was really exiting. There was a light shining bright on us. It was just... Amazing. We sat on one of the high seats so it was really scary. When it was time to sing again I left my purse at my seat. And It was just 10 minutes before we were going to sing when my parents asked me where is your purse? And I said," it's in my seat. And they said," honey you can't leave stuff in your seat. And I answered" I didn't know, I'm scared what if somebody takes it. My choir teacher, Dr. Hardaway was funny because he said that he felt in his bones it was going to be there. And his bones were right. So it was cool.

Chef Addie

I got to make my own pumpkin bread myself. I thought it was really fun. First we had to get all the ingredients out. The ingredients were sugar, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, salt, flour, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, oil, pumpkin, and water. Next we had to stir together the pumpkin, sugar (with some brown sugar), eggs, and oil. Then in a separate bowl we stirred the dry ingredients with water together. After that we cooked it. Finally we left the pumpkin bread out of the oven to cool off. And last, we stuffed. It was better than I expected. I was so proud of myself.

Marathon and birthday

Today my legs are so sore. I ran a 1k and a sixth of a 5k. And then after the k's I got to eat a lot and jump on a jumping castle. I first had a drink of a bottle of water. Next I had a half of a do-nut. Then I cheered for my Aunt B when she finished the race. Then I had a breakfast taco from Chapotle. After that I went on the jumping castle. And last I packed up and went to my home in San Antonio. When we got home first I had steak. Then I had ice cream while I watched Here Comes The Boom. Wait a minute. Did I tell you it was my moms birthday two days ago? She is turning 38. If my moms reading this, Happy Birthday MOMMY!!!! My moms a great mom. I love her. Today was a good day.

Yay ME!

I couldn't believe today. When I got up I had to do homework. My mom made my school schedule for the week. I did cursive and math. My daddy got to stay home today and he doesn't get to do that that often. My brother and sister then had to go to soccer while I had to go to choir. This is where the unbelievable part happens. So I went to choir and sung Chattanooga Choo Choo. Did a couple warm ups and then it was time to annouce the rewards for who raised more than $50.00 dollars and I was the last person to be called up. Our reward was a free buffet at Cici's Pizza and 20% off the whole price at Orange Leaf. I was the last one cause I raised the most money. I raised $120.00. And then we went to Cici's Pizza with a free buffet.

The Ligons

Today we didn't just have fun, we had fun with the Ligon's family. First we went to the same church as the Ligon's family. Our church is awesome. Pastor Greg is in the Ligon's family. At bibleland Mr. Ross told the story and I think he is the best story teller ever. We went over the rules. The first rule was don'teth talketh during Mr. Rosseseth talking eth eth. The second rule was keep your nose hairs and turtles to yourself. The thurd rule was actually good advice. The good advice was don't sit on an onion being chased by a pink gorilla. After church, we went to Raising Canes with the Ligons.  Lunch was delicious.  I had lemonade to drink.  Then we went to the rodeo grounds with, you guessed it, the Ligons.  There we went to the HEB Buddy farm. Next we went shoot BB guns. Then we saw a show with, you know, the Ligons, and it was funny because Dogs were jumping off of a dock and seeing how far they could go. Some of them didn't actually jump off but some of them jumped as far as 21 feet. The one I thought was the cutest was named Jazelle. I can't remember the one who won. Then, as Mr. Greg says, we went to "THE GREATEST CARNIVAL ON EARTH" we made it. We went on the fun slide and my sister and father went on the whatever you call it, the carousel. We had so much fun with the Ligons and I Hope we can have another family date with them.

School and sleepover

Today I had so much fun. First I got dressed. Next I went to this school conference thing. I actually was in daycare. I was doing connect four and crafts and face paints and bubble gum bubble gum in a dish. We had pizza, cookies, and juice boxes for lunch. After we were done eating the spurs coyote entered the daycare. He did something funny where he dribble the ball, then he pretended to kiss one of the girls in the daycare. After that they handed out prizes to the people in daycare. When it was time to go we went to a choir performance. It was fun. And Then I was having a sleepover with my friend. We played a lot of games.

Clothes and Video

Today I got to go to my friend's house and play. My friends name is Haidyn. She is 9 years old and she is great at singing and imagination. We played a game where I was a ordinary college girl and she was all popular and then we finally become friends and had little fights but we ended up being rock stars. In the game her name was Taylor and my name was Burnett. At the end of the play date they let me have some clothes that don't fit my friend anymore and I think I am going to wear one of them on Sunday at my church. Then it was time to go to choir. At the end of choir we watched a video about my friend's sister singing a song with one of the choir girls named Elise. We had so much fun and we also are having a sleepover on Saturday.

Car dealership and mouse

Today I had so much fun. First I got dressed. Next I went to the car dealership. Then we figured out that we can't go back to the dealership because our cars are at the car dealership. So we started a workout. It was called Insanity. After that we watched Nacho Libre. My sister, Emaleigh was play outside and she came in yelling ITS A MOUSE! And everybody put on there shoes and looked out side at the mouse. Later we saw another one dead. I will never forget the first day I saw a mouse.

Dentist and choir

Today I had to go to the dentist to get my teeth sealed. I was scared but I did great. First they showed me what they were going to do. Then they used this orange thingamajig to hold my teeth open so I couldn't close it the whole time. Next they vacuumed my teeth. After that than they polished my teeth. And last they washed it. And then I went to choir and told all of my friends about my teeth. We did Chattanooga choo choo as a song with dancing. And we also did the National Anthem, God Bless America and Battle Hymn. I had a great time.

Work and World War 2

Today I got to go to work with my dad. We had a lot of work to do. It was fun. I mostly did mailing and shredding. I also wrote on a piece of paper ten facts about World War 2. I looked stuff up on the Wikipedia. My friend shavaun helped me do my work. Work was hard too. But I loved it.

My dog and church

I love my dog. She is black and pretty. When I woke up today she was in my bed in what I like to call, her corner, and she was giving me a eye kind of look. She looked so cute. I could never have a better dog than my Chela (my dog). Than I got dressed into my prettiest clothes for church and grabbed a sweater because it was cold. At church I got myself some hot coco at the coffee shop, went to worship, and helped my dad in Bible land. Today was a thrilling day.

Selling chocolate and festival

Today was a day that I will always remember. First, I got dressed and went to go sell a box of 60 candy bars and I'm sure that I will sell 100 boxes before the year is over. Then we had so much fun at a snow festival. First I climbed the rock climbing wall. Next I went in a maze that was pretty fun. Then I went on a fun slide and also was on a adventure sort of. And last I went on a snow slide. When we went home we watched Merlin. Today is awesome.
